Set in the late Northern Song dynasty, this version of Li Shishi is the second Li Shishi, the one who met Emperor Huizong of Song. The story takes place roughly around the Jingkang Incident. The plot is entirely fictional. It is a turbulent era, and this is a general-themed story, but there will be no woman disguising herself as a man. The heroine comes from a distinguished military family in Yunzhong, descended from the Zhe family generals, and has a forthright personality.
