[I'm the Big Brother] I Used to Be the Big Sister

Suzuhara Momiji used to be a violently tempered child. Not long after moving to Chiba, she beat up Katagiri Satoshi, the local kid king, and became famous overnight for all the wrong reasons. Luckily, Satoshi wasn't one to hold a grudge. The two soon joined forces to rule the Chiba elementary school scene, and after several years together, they had developed a mutual respect for each other.

After starting middle school, their plan to conquer the Chiba middle school scene fell apart on the very first day. The reason: Momiji fell in love at first sight with Yuki Ichinose, a handsome boy who had transferred from another prefecture. When she heard that Yuki liked traditional Japanese girls, the former “Demon Woman Momiji” turned over a new leaf. Over the next three years of middle school, she transformed herself into a model student beyond reproach, only to be cruelly rejected in the end. When it came time to choose a high school, her mother, who had raised her alone, fell gravely ill. Without a word, Momiji chose Kaikyuu High, the closest and cheapest school, and ended up at the same school as Satoshi once again.

Satoshi's new goal was naturally to rule the Chiba high school scene, but this time Momiji wasn't part of the plan. He knew she didn't want to cause her mother more trouble by being known as a delinquent girl. How could she live peacefully at Kaikyuu, where every student was a delinquent, and nip every potential problem in the bud? Momiji's answer was to personally promote a new leader for Kaikyuu's girls' faction, then become the boss behind the scenes and enjoy a quiet life. And so, the girl wearing a model student's mask returned to her old ways...

# This is a feel-good, satisfying story. Of course the boss of Kaikyuu's woman has to be strong in both body and mind, haha. The author's knowledge of the original is limited to the TV drama, so there are plenty of imagined details and personal interpretations. Enjoy reading!
