The story is complete, and I've decided to revise the blurb.
This is a story about the Chancellor of Shu Han. Its central purpose is to see Zhuge Liang and the world of Shu Han through the heroine's eyes.
Whenever people ask which stage of Zhuge Liang's life I love most, the only one I think of, and my favorite, is his ten years in Longzhong. Studying and farming, playing the qin and admiring flowers, living out his days in quiet ease: what a beautiful, unassuming young man he was. Tall and handsome, brimming with spirit and ambition. Those years stand in stark contrast to the decade that followed.
And yet now, the version of him I love most is the one who entered the period of governing Shu. By then, he was over forty, and it had already been "twenty-one years since the late emperor made three visits to his thatched cottage." After the Northern Expeditions began, he entered the final eight years of his life. Those eight years meant so much to him. They were also the time when all his finest qualities shone brightest.
That sense of desolation made me fall for him all at once.
Tell me, in this vast universe and across all of history, how could someone like him have existed?
A lonely figure adrift in a turbulent age. He went to Yunnan, to Hanzhong; he made salt, built irrigation works, led the Northern Expeditions, and went to Wuzhang Plains... I love every trace of ordinary, earthly life about him. It makes him feel less like some untouchable figure high above us.
But it's hopeless. He is too far away. I read a few pages, then remember that he is no longer in this world. What use is it to read about him? I will never be able to see him with my own eyes.
So I imagine that it snowed in the sixth year of Jianxing. He wore a moon-white robe and a dark cloak. He played the qin amid the night mist, and on a frost-bitten night, he stood alone, gazing north.
Even though there was nothing there.
There was a man like this at the end of the Han dynasty, willing to shoulder the fate of the realm alone and devote his entire life to restoring the Han. Why does the thought of him always warm my heart? When the thought comes to me, it feels as if heavy snow has begun to fall over Longzhong again. Though rain has fallen for days in Jiange, a bright moon hangs above Chengdu. Its clear light has not dimmed. It has illuminated my whole life.
"Perhaps you've loved someone who lived in a different time, in a different dimension entirely.
You crawl through the dust of the years, hoping to catch his scent. You pore over pages, paintings, and poems, searching for the slightest trace he left behind.
You even want to do everything you can to protect him, though others might laugh and call you foolish.
Though he has long since passed away, or perhaps exists only in fictional words, he still haunts your thoughts.
Sometimes you feel that you know him just as he knows you. If he were alive, surely he would know you, too.
He is not a peach blossom of this world. He is your cup of punishment, the bones of your former life, and the purest, most genuine, most exalted unrequited love of your life."
Drinking the Cup of Punishment
You are buried beneath the earth, your body dissolving into mud. I remain in this world, my hair covered in snow.
We meet in dreams across different worlds, lamenting that we were not born together.
Theme: You are buried beneath the earth, your body dissolving into mud. I remain in this world, my hair covered in snow.
It's half past one in the morning on the 24th. A closer look at the comments turned out to be a masterpiece from three years ago, and suddenly I felt that time might have really flown by a little faster. The two years since I went to college have been a bit wasted. I have some deficiencies in wording and sentence making, and my words don't convey the meaning. I hope you will understand. It was an accident that I fell in love with Zhuge Liang, because it was during this winter vacation that I watched Romance of the Three Kingdoms with my family. In the beginning, I was still scratching my head because of the off-kilter writing, and then I quickly read on, and the more I read, the more I couldn't help myself. What kind of person do we love? We know that what they are running towards is a certain death, but we still can only watch them go through fire and water. He seemed to be able to see such an ending, but he just didn't want to give up this weak spark. Why? He spent his whole life repaying the kindness of knowing him. He seemed to be stripping out his heart, his talents, everything, and dedicating them all to Ji Han, whom he had been fighting for for more than twenty years. We shouted at the top of our lungs at the end of the screen, don't go, don't go, don't go, don't go, but our prime minister just smiled and left us with his back from afar. If we were really in that era, what could we do? Perhaps just like A Yue in the article, we can only share his worries and solve problems as much as we can. We are well aware of his beliefs and aspirations, and we cannot bear to tolerate his passion. Successive after another, through fire and water, they are the last fireworks blooming in Ji Han, brightening the night sky at the end of Ji Han. What impressed me the most was the part where the author talked about memorizing "The Master's Guide" while drunk. I can think of the difficult nights that we have had over the past few years, and only our lover from thousands of years ago and the few words he left can give us some relief. "Several people have painted you with rich colors, several people have sighed for you and stood high on the wind, but I am only afraid that your clear eyes will be lost in the sea of people, and there will be dust everywhere." The author is probably like this, purely and passionately in love with the characters from thousands of years ago. We immerse ourselves in the entire history. We look at the few pens in the history books and suddenly resent ourselves for not being born in the same era as him. We love his character and excellence, and this love lasts for thousands of years. I was also a writer once, and I once wrote shocking chapters. The world is in turmoil, and I am no longer what I once was. Only this touch and empathy will still tremble violently when I learn a masterpiece. Maybe I should start reading and writing again. Teacher Yidong's songs really match the author's writing. He is not a peach blossom in this world. He is your punishment, the bones of your past, and your true, pure and supreme unrequited love. You can drink wine as a toast, and you can also drink wine as a punishment.
After reading the whole text and extras, I felt that the content in the front of the main text was very different from the later part and the writing style of the extras. At first I thought it was the same silly and sweet thing as others, especially Doudizhu, which was a bit off-putting. But the further you get to the back, the more immersed you become. In particular, the extra story about the Empress Jing Ai does not have the emotional ups and downs of great sorrow and great joy, but is filled with a faint sadness of powerlessness, which makes people unable to let it go for a long time. I don't know why the author's writing style is so different. If it could be consistent, this article would definitely be better.
The promised long review is here! It seems like this is the first time I write a long review... It took me three days to finish reading this book because I am a very slow reader... After reading it, I spent the whole afternoon calming down. Unexpectedly, I became increasingly uncomfortable, with stomach discomfort, frustration, and chest tightness that I couldn't clear out. Just get up and listen to "Drinking as a Punishment" and write a long review... I'm really good at writing + illiterate in history. If anything is wrong, don't criticize me. TAT Since most people seem to be talking about my love for the Prime Minister, I should say it first. I highly recommend this article! It's really well written! The writing and plot are excellent, and the characters are not OOC. This is the author's first novel! It's very sweet at the beginning, but I cry to death at the end, and I can't calm down for a long time. Recently, I was reading about the Three Kingdoms drama, and I wanted to climb Jinjiang to see the Prime Minister, and I happened to search for this article. After reading everyone's comments, I found that I found a peak article as soon as I started. When I read the beginning, I thought it was a bit silly and the writing was average, but I really liked this article and the Prime Minister. I heard that the second part was very sad and sad, and I burst into tears. I challenged it, but as I continued reading, I just cried to death... And the more I read, the more I felt that the writing and the plot got better. Especially for this first novel, it was really well written. I am considered a genius! It was also at this time that I recalled that many clues had been buried by the author from the beginning. I blamed my impetuous temper for not being able to discover them in time. I reflected on myself. Mr. Shui Jing said that although Zhuge Liang got his master, he didn't get it at the right time. I was very sad at that time, because my talent was not able to compete with destiny because I was born at the wrong time. "How can the long sky be inferior to me?"... I think he should have known that the man's strength was about to expire, but he still walked out of the thatched cottage for Liu Bei. He never had a lazy sleep since then, working hard for the rest of his life and working hard for himself. When he was born in Huanling, Gouquan lived in troubled times. He could only imagine the beautiful and peaceful world of the early Han Dynasty through books. He helped Liu Bei revive the Han Dynasty, carrying on his shoulders the promise to the late emperor and the rise and fall of the world. He must have known that the great man's strength was exhausted... But he still devoted his whole life to it. Just as the heroine also knows his final outcome, but no one can change the trajectory of history, and struggling hard will only lead to falling into the quagmire. Everyone outside the book also knew the final ending before reading the article, but they still clicked in and tortured themselves... As written in the text, if you ask me which stage of him I like best, I would probably say that I like them all, which makes me greedy and want them all... If possible, I really hope to be able to watch him spend his life by his side. When he was young, he was high-spirited, plowing the fields and studying, and lived leisurely. After leaving Longzhong with Liu Bei, he led troops to fight and made clever calculations. He was defeated in the battle of Yiling and his foundation was severely damaged. The Bai Emperor entrusted him with an orphan. He lamented all night long, fearing that the entrustment would not be effective and harm the late emperor's wisdom. He entered the last eight years of his Northern Expedition, and finally died before leaving the army... I am very fond of Qiang at heart, and I like Zhuge Liang very much in history. I was amazed at his talent when I first met him, and then I admired his talent, virtue and loyalty. I also really like Prime Minister Zhuge's large-scale writing. Many passages made my heart beat faster (face covering). In order to save the heroine, he lied that the heroine was his wife. "When the wild goose calls, the sun begins to rise. When a scholar returns to his wife, the ice is still wet." He shot the wild goose and used the betrothal gift as a birthday gift. Sitting with the heroine on the bank of Dujiangyan, she sang for him, and he suddenly threw her down and gave her a short knife, telling her to run quickly. The first time he called her madam, she allowed him to accept her. Qiufeng Wuzhangyuan, he asked her what she should do after he left... I really like him, I really hope he is like this. I really like the heroine, she lived strong until the fall of the Han Dynasty. When he was there, the two of them got together less and separated more. After he left, she was left alone in this big world. Without a strong and powerful support like him, she could only rely on herself. If I understand correctly, the original lady and the heroine symbolize spring and autumn respectively. The birthday of the heroine, which symbolizes autumn, is in autumn, but he died in the desolate Wuzhangyuan on the birthday of the heroine. After death and life, maybe "life" happened to coincide with the appearance of the heroine and brought him happiness for the last eight years? (Maybe I didn't realize it myself haha... I am forcing reading comprehension) I am really grateful to the heroine for accompanying him for the last eight years, otherwise he would have been too miserable... Working all day long, old friends passing away one after another, and several Northern Expeditions failing to revive the Han Dynasty... It was as if he had boiled all the suffering in the world into a small bowl, and drank one bowl every day for eight years. Who would want the person they love the most to work that hard? Even though his ambitions are hard to achieve, his talents and virtues have nowhere to develop, and he cannot leave his name in history, I still hope that he can stay in Longzhong and live a peaceful and happy life. But this is just my own selfishness. If he was only in the "don't use hidden dragons" stage in his life, I might not be able to know his life in pieces from the cold pages. It's a pity that my life, birth, old age, illness and death have nothing to do with him. Even if I traveled through thousands of miles of hardships in my dream, I still couldn't say goodbye to him by saying, "I'm late, I'll punish myself with three drinks first." If there was a previous life, I hope I could be a little soldier accompanying him on the Northern Expedition, and at least be able to help him. But he is so radiant that I would rather not have any chance with him in this life, lest he discover how ordinary I am and how far out of reach I am from him. It was nice to look at him from a distance, but the sight was separated by thousands of miles of wind and frost, so I probably couldn't convey it. When I caress the pages of the book with him on it, the only thing that will be transmitted back in the end is my own body temperature. I have always wanted to be a better person, but now that idea seems to have a more distant guiding light. His single bright name seems to illuminate the whole world. He should be respected by all generations and followed by thousands of people. I'm so glad that he came to this world and let me know that the world is not that bad. My love for him cannot be fully expressed in words. I probably have a lot of things that I forgot to write down, so I'll just write them here. This article really made me cry to death... Thank you very much for this article, which made me like the Prime Minister even more! Bang has fulfilled a lot of wishes and written a lot of what was in his heart. Through these more than 300,000 words, you can definitely tell how much Dada likes him. It turns out that too passionate love will make words carry warmth. I passed by Wuhou Temple in Chengdu a few years ago but did not go in. I hope I will have the opportunity to go there someday, go to Wuhou Temple, send him a bouquet of flowers, and say "Prime Minister, take care" in my heart.
I have read them all, and I like the chapter where the protagonist and Prime Minister Jiang Wan guess lantern riddles together and drink and celebrate the Lantern Festival the most. I also like the chapter where the Prime Minister teaches the heroine to ride a horse. The author is worthy of being a doctor of liberal arts, and his writing style is very good.
"I love the way he loves Ji Han" is really well written
It took me a whole day to read it, and my eyes and nose felt swollen, and I drained a box of tissues. In fact, I have no qualifications as a history fan at all, so asking a fan to read it can only be regarded as arty. He also has no ability to love. No matter whether he loves someone twice or three times, his heart is always a pool of stagnant water. But I was still hit hard by this story and the love contained in it. It's such a heavy story. Seeing Ah Yue counting the white hairs on his head one by one and watching them move forward one after another, it felt as if the war drum was beating in his heart. At the same time, as everyone said, you can tell it is a B just by looking at the title of the article, but everyone still clicked in, which can be regarded as a kind of follow-up (乐) This is another heart-warming story. Is there such a group of determined and fearless people in the world? It would be great to have someone who can experience and laugh with them. When I was nearing the end, I had hoped that they would reunite in modern times, but I didn't expect that A Yue would spend another thirty years in Chengdu, with black hair and black hair, and would be with her until the last moment. The author's emotions revealed in the words are even more trembling, as if a sincere heart has been vomited out. I really smiled and felt sad when I saw the author talking about how he recited his teacher's example late at night after being drunk. This kind of emotion separated by thousands of years is so dazzling and intoxicating. I was shocked to the point that my hands and feet were almost numb, as if I had also learned to love. I also have a lot of history fan lists, and I have seen a bit of the author. Maybe Ah Yue is a beautiful dream, but Wan Ning's state of mind of loving her deeply but being unable to express her love despite being thousands of miles apart is the reality in the world, right? As a dabbler, when I think of the Three Kingdoms, I think more of the chaos at the end of the Han Dynasty, when heroes competed with each other and heroes emerged in large numbers. I have almost no idea about the middle and late stages. I know some legends and stories from listening to Peking Opera, but I always have a sense of twilight in my impression, especially the Missing Slash. I am very grateful to the author for letting me know that there is still a group of people in this world who are determined to make progress and then die. Kudos to them and you.
Hey, there's actually an update It's been a long time since I read this article, and I have a different feeling when I recall it. Probably drinking boiled water from a cup that has been soaked in tea, the lingering fragrance fills the air through the years. Although the heroine descended from the sky in the most existential way and broke into Ji Han's last decades, I feel that she is still a bystander, or in other words, a witness. It was as if she had been on an epic journey, but she had not changed a single thing on the journey. It can be seen from the title that this is a story with no room for relaxation. I can't remember why I clicked in at that time. Maybe I couldn't stand the urge to change my fate against the will of heaven, or maybe I felt that any change to Ji Han's ending was a kind of blasphemy. The autumn wind in Wuzhangyuan has risen again, and the ginkgo trees in Chengdu have fallen leaves every year. The Wei, Jin, Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties have come and gone, but we are still called Han people.
Thank you to the author. The destined ending, eighteen hundred years of time, is so painful to do Shi Tong, I cried bitterly.
"Daddy is in grandma's hands" I couldn't hold back for a moment??
Hello, madam. After reading my wife's "The Last Eight Years with Zhuge Liang", my heart is filled with excitement. I came here to express my respect and hope I won't blame you. To put it bluntly, when I was a child studying the Three Kingdoms, I always admired Ah Man. To this day, my feelings for my father-in-law have always been torn between "why is it like this" and "understanding the righteousness". Although "The Last Eight Years" begins with the love between a man and a woman, it does not stop there. Only by looking at Xiangfu from a more nuanced perspective can we understand why Xiangfu still affects so many people more than a thousand years later. His ability to sleep early and sleep late, to eat late at night, and to eat less and take care of things comes not only from that promise, but also from his firmness in himself. Doing what you think is right to the end is a firm belief in "becoming yourself and staying yourself". Although the ending was decided at the beginning, I still chose to read Xiangfu's last eight years. The wind, frost, rain, snow and sleepless nights of these eight years are deeply rooted in my heart. I really like the lyrics that my wife quoted at the end of the article, "In my dream, you are the most decisive." You and I were born in a stable and prosperous age. Although we have no ambition to bring peace to the world, we still have the belief in personal ideals. I hope that my wife will have a smooth road in the future, inspiring Yiliang's ambition and perseverance to climb up.
