Everyone at Jincheng University knows that the sweet, boy-next-door campus heartthrob Lu Nian has it all: looks, family background, and grades. He does have one tiny quirk, though:
While other young people suffer from smartphone addiction, he suffers from dream-interpretation obsession.
Then one day, Lu Nian dreams that two tall men whose faces he can't make out become a married couple amid a chorus of congratulations. Startled, and clueless about niche interests, Lu Nian quickly looks up what Duke Zhou's Dream Dictionary has to say:
The Dream Dictionary says: Dreaming of homosexuality symbolizes a lack of affection and tenderness from the opposite sex. It can also mean that the dreamer is very close to a same-sex friend and hopes to possess some of that person's qualities. A dream about homosexuality does not mean that the dreamer has homosexual tendencies, but is a form of psychological self-comfort. It mainly reflects that the dreamer has recently had a strained or distrustful relationship with the opposite sex, while someone of the same sex is better able to understand their thoughts and feelings.
Thus reassured, Lu Nian reaches a solemn conclusion: he should find a sweet, soft girl to date.
Of course, how could he embark on such a major life event as dating without telling his buddy Ye Beigui?
Ye Beigui: Heh.
