The ideal man in the hearts of every woman in Yuncheng, Young Marquis Xie has always simply swept away without a care for any cloud in the sky.

But ever since a little cousin with cheeks soft as water and a willow-slim waist arrived at the marquis's residence, Young Marquis Xie's ways have gradually changed.

One afternoon in the marquis's garden.

Little Cousin (holding out a honeydew melon): Cousin, try some. It's very sweet...

Xie Yan (ignoring the melon, quickly lowering his head to bite her soft red lips): Mm... You're still the sweetest, little cousin...

Here's the blurb:

Zhou Jue, Crown Prince of Great Yan, is as radiant as a jade tree and exceptionally graceful. But he is far too disciplined, reserved in nature, and extremely discerning in his taste. As a result, he remains unattached as he approaches twenty, much to the concern of his mother, Empress Wei.

One day, a little girl nicknamed "Little Pink Dumpling" appeared in the palace. She came from the Xie family of Yuncheng and moved in next door to the Eastern Palace as a relative.

Little Pink Dumpling was as pretty as a doll, but far too mischievous and talkative. The crown prince couldn't stand her and threatened to move out of the Eastern Palace to escape her.

After a series of twists and turns, the crown prince finally managed to send Little Pink Dumpling back to her home in Yuncheng.

Three months later, the crown prince did something astonishing: he packed his bags and went to Yuncheng too.

"Mother, I promise I'll bring you back a daughter-in-law this time..." Those were the bold words the crown prince declared to Empress Wei before setting out.

But he never expected that Little Pink Dumpling would change after returning to Yuncheng. The crown prince had one word for it: miserable. Uh, scratch that. One word: sweet...
