[Digimon] They've All Gone to Save the Digital World

I, Shangguan Mari, have a really cool boyfriend.

He's handsome and aloof, and I like him so, so much.

But not long after we started dating, he mysteriously vanished without a trace.

I spent a whole half hour grieving over our relationship that never got the chance to develop.

Then he came back and told me he'd actually gone to save the Digital World.

Me: ?

I should've known. Turns out he's a chuuni hiding behind a cool-guy facade.

* This story is set in the DF timeline (Season 4), and the pairing is Genjiro.

* A Digimon anthology of short stories, all sweet treats. The author currently plans to write about Takuya Kanbara as well. The rest are undecided, so feel free to suggest characters.

* A work of childhood nostalgia. Childhood favorites such as Shugo Chara! and Cardcaptor Sakura may pop up from time to time. Please pay them no mind.
