[Reborn!] Three Years After Our Breakup, I Got News of My Ex-Boyfriend's Death

When I was attending university in Kyoto, I dated a junior student for a while.

He was a good person, gentle-tempered, considerate, and attentive.

Aside from his friends seeming a little odd, he was almost the perfect boyfriend in my eyes.

Back then, I thought we'd be together forever.

The third year after I broke up with my junior, I received news of his death.

I fell silent for a moment, then looked at the brown-haired young man lying beside me and narrowed my eyes dangerously.

"Don't you have anything to explain?"

A hint of innocence appeared on the young man's refined face. He took my hand and, in the same gentle manner as always, lowered his eyes and said quietly:

"I was wrong."

"But I... just wanted to get back together with you, senpai."

* No contrived misunderstandings. They broke up because of the considerations adults face.

* Mostly sweet, with a little angst for flavor

* Written to satisfy personal tastes: a white bunny at first, a black bunny later
