The Scene-Stealing Female Side Character Falls Flat

Su Mujia is reborn as the daughter of a vicious supporting actress.

To stay alive, she follows the System's instructions and does everything she can to please Lu Jin, the original heroine's son.

But she overacts so badly that everyone thinks she's Lu Jin's pathetic lackey, and they look down on her with utter contempt.

Lu Jin also finds her deeply repulsive. "You think you can compare yourself to Qingxue? Get lost, and the farther away the better!"

Su Mujia doesn't notice how Lu Jin's gaze toward her is gradually changing. Once she completes her mission, she promptly gets as far away as she can.

Only then does Lu Jin realize that everything she did for him was an act.

Lu Jin's eyes turn blood red. "Run. Let's see how far you can get. :)"
