The Memory Erasure Agency

Fresh out of college and unemployed, Soda received an anonymous job offer and casually tossed it onto the table.

After sending out more than forty resumes without hearing back, and suffering through his mother's nagging, Soda glanced at the signature on the offer letter: Memory Erasure Agency.

Sounds like an internet company?

Though the job had nothing to do with his major, even a janitor's position would be fine if it came with someone paying his social insurance and housing fund. With that thought, Soda sprang to his feet, grabbed the offer letter, pushed open the door, hailed a taxi, and headed for the address on it.

The company was pretty nice, with plenty of space per employee and a clear organizational structure. There were just a few people: apart from him, there was only the boss.

The Memory Erasure Agency is hired by clients to erase a memory of theirs from someone's mind after they die.

Soda is responsible for confirming whether the person has died and whether they have broken any laws, while the boss handles the memory erasure.
