The Fallen Mermaid

Secret Crush Story/Bad Ending

“Once upon a time, a ship was sinking. There were five animals aboard: a tiger, a lion, a bear, a turtle, and a monkey. Whoever told a joke that wasn't funny had to jump overboard to slow the ship's sinking. The turtle went first. Everyone laughed except the bear, so the turtle jumped into the sea. The lion told a joke. Everyone laughed except the bear, so the lion jumped in. The monkey finished telling his joke, trembling with fear. Everyone laughed, and the bear laughed hardest of all. He said, ‘That turtle's joke was hilarious.’”
