Ultrasound Girl

The daughter of Lan Yan and Xi Jin.

Her parents' love story: Spoiling You in Secret, complete.

Her uncle's love story: The Gods Forgot They Had Fallen, complete.

When the weather turned a little warmer, Xi Jun, Shi Xi, and the whole Lan Yan and Xi Jin family went on vacation together. The seats on the plane were side by side, and the little girl wanted the window seat so she could look at the scenery.

Xi Jun teased her. "Rock, paper, scissors."

She won, but her uncle Xi Jun wouldn't play fair. He insisted she dance before giving up the window seat.

The girl: "..."

Xi Jun didn't dare refuse, either. If she got angry, her ultrasonic waves might shatter every window on the plane and send the shards flying thirty meters away.

The girl sat by the window, leaning against it to look at the clouds. The cloud cover was thick today, full of all kinds of shapes, as if the fairies had chosen this day to hold a dance.

But...

She saw something black in the clouds,

something that looked like a chain.

Following the chain with her eyes, she saw a boy.

He looked to be in his teens. Chains emerging from the clouds bound both his wrists, whose exposed skin was marked with dark red lash scars. He wore a long robe and hung suspended in the air, held aloft by the taut chains.

She turned to call her father, but just as she was about to speak, the boy suddenly opened his eyes. They were dark and fierce, filled with pain but even more with ruthless determination.

Then, for some reason, she couldn't say a word. By the time the plane had flown farther away, the boy hanging in the air had vanished from sight.

Theme: Study hard and uncover the secret of ultrasonic waves.
