Dear Pinocchio

Blurb from the bottom’s point of view: When he was young, Qiao Yi was full of ambition. He never imagined that years after graduation, he’d be a complete failure, unable to accomplish anything and struggling in poverty.

Then he runs into Pei Mingfeng, an old high school classmate. Pei Mingfeng, who used to be short and dull and follow him around like a lackey, has become tall, handsome, and incredibly rich. Qiao Yi hardly dares to recognize him…

At the end of his rope, Qiao Yi happens to see Pei Mingfeng fall down some steps and hit his head right in front of him. He takes Pei Mingfeng to the hospital, hoping that once he wakes up, he’ll give him some money out of gratitude for saving his life.

But when Pei Mingfeng wakes up, he has amnesia and asks who Qiao Yi is.

Thinking of Pei Mingfeng’s luxury car and designer watch, as well as the rumors at their reunion that he’s gay, Qiao Yi loses his mind and shamelessly says, “I-I’m your boyfriend…”
