The Heavenly Venerable's Two Faces

Everyone says the Heavenly Lord is cold and unfeeling, loving all under heaven, yet treating his own disciple poorly. His master raised him by hand, and after ascending to become a Heavenly Venerable, waited for ten thousand years.

The disciple failed to ascend many times, then simply accepted his lot and gave up. He missed and cherished his master deeply, supported him unconditionally, and was very understanding, but never once blamed him.

The disciple is incredibly powerful, and so is the Heavenly Venerable. (He already loved his disciple when he ascended.)

Every day, the Heavenly Venerable watches his disciple through the Heavenly Mirror. When he sees that his nine grand-disciples all love the disciple, he finally can't take it anymore. He deliberately takes on another identity, becomes his disciple's youngest disciple, and descends to the mortal realm to fall in love with him.

No CP story: Heavenly Venerable gong x fake Heavenly Dao shou. They don't end up together, and the fake Heavenly Dao can't possibly be a shou.

Theme: Respecting your career is what really matters. Romance is going nowhere.
