A flirtatious, seductive older sister X a devoted puppy who gets a little wild when he snaps
Told from the male lead's perspective: a secret crush comes true. Told from the female lead's perspective: marriage first, love later.
My next story will be Wild Winds Entwined: a wild Tibetan girl as free as the wind X a distinguished business tycoon. The blurb is below, and I'm drafting it now. I'll start once I have enough chapters saved up. Please add it to your reading list in advance.
Blurb 1:
T University's gifted youth program has always been a gathering place for geniuses doomed to a life without love.
Yun Che was the brightest of them all, but he fell for someone at the tender age of sixteen.
That summer, a white skirt fluttered in the breeze. The girl's smile was bright, like a spotless white gardenia.
Jing Yan stood beneath a waterfall of wisteria, her smiling peach-shaped eyes tilted upward. She reached out and ruffled his hair. "You like your big sister? Then you'll have to wait until you grow up."
-
Later, Yun Che saw in the entertainment section of the newspaper the sky ablaze with fireworks over Victoria Harbour, and two people kissing beneath their dazzling glow.
A handsome couple, well matched in status, a perfect match made in heaven. That's how the paper described them.
His big sister hadn't waited for him to grow up.
-
They met again at a project presentation. Jing Yan wore a sharp business suit, her gaze steady and incisive behind silver-rimmed glasses. She flipped through a few pages, tossed Yun Che's painstakingly prepared proposal aside, and dismissed it without mercy. "A student team, dreaming the impossible."
Yun Che argued passionately for ecological conservation, but Jing Yan cut him off coldly. "I'm a businesswoman. I only care about returns on investment. What do any of those things you mentioned have to do with me?"
-
Later still, Jing Yan visited him late at night. A red dress accentuated her graceful figure, and her rose-colored nails brushed lightly across Yun Che's cheek. Her breath was as sweet as an orchid's. "You like your big sister?"
Seeing Yun Che's handsome face flush, she leaned close to his ear and whispered, "I'll give you the project. We can even have a little fun dating. Do you want to marry your big sister?"
Blurb 2:
People in their circle say Jing Yan is calculating and shrewd, and that she married in haste just to secure power. A student from an ivory tower knows nothing about the world and stays out of corporate affairs, making him simple and easy to control.
But Jing Yan's plans went further than that. In the scheme she'd been laying for four years, the only thing she hadn't accounted for was Yun Che.
He offered her a heart as pure and golden as the sun, making her willingly step into his tender trap.
But later, Jing Yan discovered that Yun Che, who loved clinging to her and acting spoiled like a golden retriever, wasn't quite as innocent and harmless as he seemed.
She heard that the youngest son of the century-old Rong family, one of Yancheng's most prestigious clans, was named Che and took his mother's surname, Yun.
The tall, slender young man could easily hold her captive in his arms, kissing the rose-shaped birthmark behind her ear until it bloomed with color. His usually gentle, harmless puppy eyes were full of desire. His voice slightly hoarse, he murmured, "Big sister, I might get a little crazy tonight."
Blurb 3:
Jing Yan once bought a plot of land, but after the city's development plans changed, it lay abandoned for years.
One day, she drove past and saw that the barren land had been completely transformed.
Yun Che, a renowned professor of botany, stood under the scorching sun, scattering flower seeds with his own hands. A sea of roses bloomed in dazzling splendor.
Jing Yan recalled that damp night years ago, when the young man had whispered in her ear, "Of all the flowers in the world, you will always be my one and only rose."
Reading guide:
1v1, both leads' first time
----Next up: Wild Winds Entwined-----
The Rong family is a century-old clan and, without question, Yancheng's foremost family.
The current chairman, Rong Ze, is cool and distinguished, with a face of unparalleled beauty. Ruthless and decisive in business, he has always been someone no one dares offend.
And yet the same person has held a sharp knife to his throat twice.
The first time was when they met.
Rong Ze had heard that the Luo family had brought a child back from Tibet. According to an old agreement, the girl was to be his future wife.
When he pushed open the Luo family's gate, a sharp Tibetan knife was pressed against his throat.
The girl holding it had dark skin and the distinctive rosy cheeks of the highlands. Her hand was steady. The blade needed to move only a hair farther to slice through the vulnerable vein. Her dark, bright eyes stared straight at him, like a young eagle with talons but still-growing wings.
The marriage arrangement between the two families was called off.
The second time came after online media photographed actress Jiang Xingyun quietly leaving the Rong home early one morning. The two were rumored to be "close to getting married."
That day, a board meeting was interrupted when someone barged in.
Luo Sang walked straight to Rong Ze and pressed the sharp blade against the man's vulnerable throat.
Everyone in the conference room sprang to their feet, tense. Rong Ze remained unhurried, slowly running his fingertip along the blade before stopping at the eagle pattern he had carved himself.
Rong Ze asked calmly, "What does our Luo Sang want?"
Luo Sang said each word distinctly: "I've come to steal my groom."
Rong Ze raised an eyebrow, his expression faintly amused. "All right."
-
Only after they married did Luo Sang discover that she wasn't the first to step into the trap.
There was never a shortage of beautiful women around a man at the top of the pyramid. Rong Ze had encountered a little eagle, clever and perceptive, who, because she was still young, would occasionally show him a few endearingly confused moments.
This strange and dazzling world was no place for a rare bird to spread its wings. But Rong Ze wanted her to fly.
Theme: Believe in love, and embrace it.
He also analyzed himself very carefully. He is a very strict brother.
