The little brat refuses to accept being called cute, so here's another update.

This relationship really taught me that emotional maturity doesn't have much to do with age. My boyfriend is young, but he's dependable. So the age gap hasn't been much of a problem.

When we first met, I was going through one of the hardest times in my life. I was on the verge of a breakdown, but with him by my side, I made it through.

At first, hormones and a moment of impulse played a part in how this relationship began. Later, I even lost confidence that we could make it work. After all, to other people, he's young, handsome, kind, and has a bright future ahead of him. I'm sharp-tongued and bad-tempered, with a kid in tow. But he gave me the confidence to keep going. We know whether we're right for each other. What other people think is none of their damn business.

He can be clingy and jealous, which is a little annoying sometimes, but I guess it's part of the fun of being together.
