[Wuxia Crossover] A Bookish Scholar Is Good for Nothing

Shu Mingshen is an utterly ordinary scholar. Yet the tenants living in his courtyard are almost all anything but ordinary. Room One is occupied by an “Eastern Maiden” who is sometimes a man and sometimes a woman, sharp-tongued but soft-hearted. Room Two is home to a handsome, aloof, yet very honest young man who has fallen on hard times. And then there is Young Master Chu in Room Three, who appears and disappears without a trace and is almost never seen all year round. What is more, the people Shu Mingshen knows also seem to be far from ordinary. There is the refined and elegant Young Master Hua, gentle and courteous as a whole house filled with flowers, and the troublesome Young Master Lu, who has four eyebrows and is practically invincible at causing trouble, among others. Yet the person he is closest to is a handsome young man known as the Ninth Young Master. Though he cannot fight and they have not known each other for long, he treats Shu Mingshen exceptionally well! Shu Mingshen has fallen into peril several times, and it was almost always thanks to the Ninth Young Master that he managed to escape danger. Shu Mingshen is deeply grateful to him, and the Ninth Young Master seems to have fallen deeply in love with him as well. But is that really the truth? Will the Ninth Young Master regret his “impure motives” toward Shu Mingshen? Perhaps this is what they mean by getting caught in your own trap and suffering the consequences of your actions! Theme: Evil can never triumph over good.
