Reborn as a Pretty Boy in the Entertainment Industry

[My new story, Transmigrate into a Book and Become a Dad in the Sixties, is now underway. It's a period romance with a System; see my author page. My completed male-lead romance, The Live-in Son-in-Law [Transmigrate into a TV Drama], is also available.]

Liao Zhixing, a private-school teacher who gave up his pen to join the military during the Republican era, died in battle. When he opened his eyes, he was seventy years in the future, living as a pretty boy who relied on his looks and women for a living. He was lazy, greedy, and had no principles.

Liao Zhixing: Heh. What kind of nonsense is this? I'm out.

System: Wait! You've already started a mission called "You'll die if you don't win Best Actor"!

Liao Zhixing: ...

Xie Rushi: The puppy I kicked out has had a total change of character. He's talented, can cook, and is gentle and considerate. He keeps himself to himself, too. Hmm, you little darling. I forgive you. Let's get back together.

Liao Zhixing: Madam, please show some restraint!

Not long afterward.

Liao Zhixing: I think I could be a good stepfather. (Trying to look composed.jpg)

Xie Rushi: No need... He's your biological son.

This is a fictional setting, so don't scrutinize the details. A lighthearted, cheerful story. The pairing is with award-winning actress Xie Rushi, who is nine years older than the male lead. They fall in love after having a child. A cute little one makes an appearance.
