Ning Rong was eighteen and still unmarried. The villagers all laughed at her for being an old maid.
She didn't care what outsiders said. She simply shut the door and made a thriving life for herself.
Unfortunately, her uncle's family coveted her family's wealth. Using the excuse that her father had no son to perform the funerary rites after his death, they pressured him to adopt their youngest boy.
So she went to the market and bought herself a handsome husband.
Her husband had refined features and a tall, straight figure, looking every bit like a young master from a noble family.
He could read and write, and his voice was as pleasant as a mountain spring.
He was wonderful in every way, except that he didn't like talking to her.
Ning Rong felt a little regretful, but privately thought it was just as well that her husband was quiet. They were going to spend their whole lives together, after all. Who would want someone chattering nonstop?
As long as he was by her side, even if all she could do was look at him, that was enough.
Who could have guessed that one day her husband would be gone, just like that, leaving her alone and heavily pregnant?
She thought she would spend the rest of her life growing old in loneliness with her child. But unexpectedly, her supposedly deceased husband returned, now a general.
He held her close and murmured into her ear again and again, every word sinking deep into her heart.
Story Blurb
To pay for her younger brother's medical treatment, Ximei agreed to marry Fubao, the village fool, while her mother wept and her father sighed. Just like that, she was married off.
Fubao might have been a little foolish, but he was fair and clean-cut. When he smiled, two deep dimples appeared in his cheeks. He was as lovable as could be.
"Wife, I picked this little flower for you. Isn't it pretty?" In the sunlight, Fubao squinted. The fine fuzz on his chubby cheeks was clearly visible.
The little fool was all smiles, his eyes full of eagerness to please. When he looked at Ximei, it was as if she were his whole world.
Facing such a sweet little fool, Ximei couldn't bring herself to dislike him. Fine, she would just spend the rest of her life raising a child. But as she raised him, their feelings seemed to change.

Qi Xiaocao never liked her name.
Xiaocao, little grass. It always sounded so lowly.
But the director who raised her told her,
"I named you Xiaocao because I hope you'll live like wild grass.
The wildfire can never burn it away. The spring breeze brings it back to life."
And so, carrying the director's heartfelt hopes with her, Xiaocao transmigrated.
As soon as she arrived, a stalk of straw stuck out of her hair, and she was sold to human traffickers.
She escaped, but though she got away from the traffickers, she couldn't escape being sold.
She became a little farm bride, married to bring good fortune to her husband.
But the family who bought her treated her very well.
They treated her as if she were their own daughter.
She thought, Fine, little grass can grow anywhere, can't it?
At least here, someone cared for her and loved her. She had become a little houseplant, cherished by her family.
So what if her young husband was a little too young?
Later, she discovered that the young husband she thought was so little had his own extraordinary encounter, because he had been reborn.

A very good article. Recommended. Keep up the good work.
The whole article is simple and warm. I especially like the characters of the male and female protagonists.

When the yellow mud falls into the ****, it's either shit or shit. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha noisy
Why is there so much gibberish in this chapter? . Or there is a problem with my Jinjiang app. .
I can't understand why the hostess couldn't think of marrying such a person. If she had made a bandit to rob him or something, not only would her son be fine, but those bitches would have them all in their hands and sell them whenever they wanted. Or they would have infected her with a disease and then thrown her into the building, where they would pick up customers 24 hours a day until she died.
A little less. . . . .
At least the leg was broken
Don't let your cousin die and let her stay locked up with the scumbag. Isn't that true love? Haha →_→
Please give that bitch a hard death
