[Across the Ocean to See You] May You Be Safe All Your Life

I keep my promises and don't abandon my stories. Add me to your favorites? ^3^

What if Lin Ruomeng had been reunited with her family much earlier?

Then... if the timeline changed, would everything else change too?

With that thought in mind, I started writing.

There's no blurb for now... I'll write an introduction instead.

If I think of a proper blurb someday, I'll add it then.

This is a fanfiction based on the TV drama If There Is No Tomorrow.

In principle, you can read it even if you haven't watched the show.

I mainly started writing this because, after finishing the whole series,

I thought Lin the eldest and Lanlan made such a lovely couple...

Since they couldn't be together in the show, I'll make it happen myself.

I feel so bad for Lin the eldest, and for Hong Lan. They couldn't get a happy ending in the show, so at least let me give them one here.

(That's the plan for now!)

*I may mix in some material from the novel to fill in the show's plot holes.

The main pairing is Lin Qikai x Hong Lan.

The secondary pairing is Xu Xingcheng x Lin Ruomeng.

↑ You read that right, this really is the secondary pairing! But fans of this pairing, enter at your own risk. I'm not a fan of theirs, I'm... well, you know.

If you're not their fan, feel free to dive in. One of the other goals of this story is to send everyone who tormented Sheng Ge back to the people who deserve it.

As for Sheng Ge, let him keep being an xxj... No, I mean, let him keep enjoying life!

I can't guarantee I won't abandon this story.

I can't guarantee I won't abandon this story.

I can't guarantee I won't abandon this story.

****Important things must be said three times!

This is different from my previous stories.

For now, all I have for this pairing is an outline that gets them together. I haven't figured out the ending yet.

I can only promise not to abandon the story before they get together.

After that... well...

Let's see if I can think of an ending. Uh, hahahahaha.

P.S. The characters might also be OOC...

Updates will be rather slow~~
