I'm reliable about updating, so won't you add me to your collection? ^3^ Although the book was originally called Domi and You Explore Science, what it tells is the story of a group of people who defy science, using the unscientific to face this scientific world. The protagonist, Mi Duomi, meets Hailan, a tsundere mermaid, and the door to a new world opens before him. It turns out there really are monsters in this world, and they're pretty strange ones. It turns out there really are unscientific things in this world; not everything can be explained scientifically. It turns out this world... Mi Duomi: Help! Who cares what your world is like? Can I just leave!? I'm innocent! Why are you dragging me into this? Someone coaxes him: You're special to a certain mermaid, and our research institute offers pretty good bonuses. Mi Duomi, losing it: I'm just a human! Everyone at the research institute gives him a sidelong look: We look... human too... This is a heartrending story about a human struggling among a group of monsters. = =||| An ordinary human gets tossed around, caught between being screwed over and being screwed over, and eventually gives up struggling and accepts that he's just an ordinary human, only for a whole new world to open up to him. ...Damn it, turns out he isn't a pure-blooded human after all. Hailan: (staring wide-eyed) Come down and keep me company... Keep me company... Keep me company... Mi Duomi: = = You're a mermaid, for goodness' sake. Why are you cosplaying a ghost? Usual update days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, sometime between 9 and 10 p.m. > < P.S.: 1. The author was terrified by the show Explore Science, so this is my revenge on society. The tone is like the first half of Explore Science... There won't be any scientific explanations in the second half. 2. The author gets spooked easily by monsters, so an abrupt ending is acceptable. Or I might scare myself to tears before the gong and shou even fall in love. 3. I promise not to abandon this. I don't promise not to end it badly, for the reason given in point 2. When someone first asked me to write about monsters, I refused. Not because monsters are damn scary, but because of the special effects, the stunts, and more special effects: duang, duang, duang, duang.
