Sick

Sick

Pei Li got a new deskmate.

Her new deskmate had a beautiful, pale face, a tall, slender build, and bloodless lips. Everything about him gave off the cold signal: I'm sick, stay away.

He was exactly her type.

*

She followed close behind him, wanting to shout his name to the whole world.

She took him to see the most beautiful night scenery

and carefully held his icy hand.

She made him fall for her, made him unable to pull himself away,

but never got to hear him confess his feelings.

Later, all she received was a notice that he was critically ill.

*

Chen Li disappeared in the year he loved Pei Li most.
