At Dusk, I Ascended to the Emperor's Chamber

A fake young master, a female prime minister disguised as a man, vs. a narcissistic emperor

Blurb 1: Zhao Jin is miserable every day. Bai Mang likes him so much, what should he do? Give in, give in, or give in? Never mind, he might as well give in.

Bai Mang: Heh... You should really see the imperial physician...

Blurb 2: When Zhao Jin ascends the throne, he announces to the whole world that he doesn't love women and will have no heirs. So he summons the sons of princes, nobles, and ministers to the palace to choose a crown prince.

Bai Mang takes his elder brother's place and enters the palace, only to discover in horror...

They live better than the imperial concubines.

They dress better than the imperial concubines.

While they scheme against one another, the imperial concubines snack on melon seeds, play cards, and gamble.

In the middle of the night, the new emperor summons them for a heart-to-heart.

In broad daylight, the eldest son of the Marquis of Zhenbei, who had just had a heart-to-heart with him, jumps into a lake...

The noble young men of the Palace of Selected Elegance all shudder. Have they stolen the concubines' jobs?

P.S. The male lead isn't actually into men ^o^ If you're passing by, come on in! Come on in!

"The Last Scion of the Former Dynasty"

They say women and petty people are hard to deal with. Shen Luo is both...

At fifteen, Shen Luo is bestowed upon Nie Mu, a founding hero.

At sixteen, Shen Luo learns what it means to be cannon fodder, and how a fire at the city gates can bring disaster to the fish in the moat. She decides to be the Nie family's cherished mascot, only to die at the hands of her maid and elder sister.

At seventeen, Shen Luo returns as the Heir of Prince Ning.

She wants to be a mascot!

The most precious mascot in the whole world!

Let's see if they still dare to kill her whenever they please!

And so...

Huo Xiao keeps heart pills on him every day, silently repeating: This is the last scion of the former dynasty. Keeping the former dynasty calm depends on him! I can't kill him, I can't kill him, I can't kill him! I have to learn to be magnanimous! Magnanimous!
