Distant

After graduating from university, Yin Yao, the eldest daughter of the Yin family, happily got a job as an art teacher at an elementary school. She was just as happy about celebrating her hundredth day with her boyfriend.

Then she saw him with his arm around a rich woman's waist, acting like her obedient little pet.

She was stunned.

Her boyfriend turned his head away and said, "You're just an elementary school teacher. Do you know how exhausted I am? You can't give me anything I want! Yin Yao, I'm tired. I want to skip twenty years of struggle. Is that so wrong?"

Yin Yao was so shocked she couldn't respond. Once she came to her senses, she was furious. He wanted to skip twenty years of struggle, did he?

Fine, she would skip twenty years of struggle too!

She rushed home, clung to her older brother's leg, and cried, "I agree to the arranged marriage you mentioned before! I'm coming home to inherit the family business!"

President Yin scoffed. "You may agree, but will the other party?"

Yin Yao realized he had a point. So she launched a full-on pursuit of President Huo, who had proposed the match before, determined to make him get over having rejected her six months earlier.

When President Huo returned from a business trip, she met him at the airport.

When President Huo worked late, she ordered him takeout.

When President Huo played ball, she cheered him on from the sidelines.

Huo Si: "..."

Yin Zheng had only meant to let his little sister have her fun. He'd agreed to let her come home, after all, because Huo Si was the kind of man who never looked back.

Until one day, he went to pick up his troublesome little sister and saw Huo Si emerge from Yin Yao's room looking exhausted.

President Yin: "..."
