The Golden Whistle of Football

This is an old-school story and includes the common old-school soccer-fiction plot point of the protagonist having a child. Please don't buy it if that bothers you. [Story blurb] The bonus chapters for this story are collected in the author's series. “He lives in the headlines.” “He's a lucky charm. Kiss him and you'll score.” “His life is like a cheat code. He's the first person ever to win the World Cup and officiate the World Cup final.” “He's the England captain, and he'll even share the screen with Captain America.” “Most importantly, he's handsome. So devastatingly handsome it's practically a crime.” “He's descended from an English duke. He's a brilliant player and an outstanding referee. He's the thirty-third team in the World Cup. He has clear principles and unshakable resolve...” “He is Evan DeWitt, the very definition of fairness.” “The whole world is crazy about him, but he only loves Cristiano Ronaldo.” . This is the story of an incredible player who retires and becomes a referee, then goes back to playing, gets involved with the British and American entertainment industries along the way, and returns to refereeing after he hangs up his boots again, handing out red cards and warnings every day. # The head referee is the true god of the field # No team-bashing. Liverpool fans, don't worry # Most of the handsome soccer stars you want to see are here, plus cameos from Chris Evans, Hugh Jackman, and Leonardo DiCaprio # The author is letting loose and writing everyone as handsomely as possible # Evan will appear in movies, with scenes set in those films # The first hundred thousand words have a lot of forum posts. I'll gradually revise them CP: Cristiano Ronaldo, Evan is the top The author's upcoming story next door features Ibrahimovic. Go add it to your collection! (⊙▽⊙) .
