day 3: Immortal Physician Qihuang: "...My lord... this isn't an illness. It may be what ordinary people call sadness."
Immortal Physician Qihuang cried himself unconscious in the bathroom. "My lord, I really can't treat this affliction. Please let me go, qaq."
And so...
"I'm ill." The man furrowed his brows and spoke to Runyu with stern sincerity. His devastatingly handsome face was so elegant that even Xufeng would pale beside him.
Runyu tried to steady his nerves at the sight of the ancient god. Carefully, he asked, "Is your illness serious, my lord? Perhaps... I could summon the immortal physician Qihuang to examine you?" As he spoke, he raised his hands in a formal salute, turned, and swept off toward the Thirteenth Heaven, his white gauze trailing behind him.
But just as he was about to step away, Fuli seized him by the wrist and pulled him back.
The man leaned in close, his cool gray eyes, which usually held three thousand stars, filled entirely with Runyu's reflection. In the same measured tone he used to expound the scriptures, he said, "You treat me."
Fuli pressed Runyu's hand against his heart. "From now on, don't feel wronged, lonely, or sad. Otherwise, this place will fall ill."
