The story of Runyu, the second male lead in Ashes of Love, and Xiaoyugan, the Qingqiu princess.
I happened to watch Ashes of Love, and the first time I saw Big Dragon, I remembered a short story called "The Jiao Concubine" that I'd read years ago in a ghost story collection. I really wanted to call Big Dragon "Hubby."
Emmmm, the plot put me through so much heartbreak, so I decided to write Big Dragon a perfect ending myself.
A few personal thoughts: I don't think Jin Mi or Kuang Lu is right for Big Dragon. The former is carefree and whimsical, and living with the slow-to-catch-on Big Dragon would feel more like a father and daughter. Once she matures later on, her heart belongs to someone else. Big Dragon's fixation on her is more about his unwillingness to accept losing to Xu Feng. Fairy Kuang Lu isn't bad either, but people have this very shameless idea that what they can't have is always the best. You can't force a melon to taste sweet, and Kuang Lu treats Big Dragon with more reverence and caution. So I just can't picture him with either of them. I might as well imagine a new partner for him.
I think the best kind of love for Big Dragon needs a touch of girlish tenderness and a little persistence to move him, to heal his loneliness and darkness of thousands of years. A bit like Yuan Xiangqin and Jiang Zhishu. Once Big Dragon truly gives his heart, they can take their time together, side by side, watching the joys and sorrows of the world.

I just hope that the author can torture the fox emperor and the temptress, and it is best to lose their souls.
