99.99% Death Rate

After suffering a double blow to his career and finances, Xie Xinglou became a lazy couch potato, content to eat his way through life and wait for death. After a week of wallowing, he unexpectedly received a package containing a Rubik's Cube and a card.

Following the instructions on the card, Xie Xinglou turned the cube. The next moment, he was inside its world, surrounded by more than a hundred people who, like him, had been inexplicably pulled in. A man in a black robe floated out and ordered them to form groups of seven for a series of horror survival games. The winner would have their wish granted. The losers would die.

Xie Xinglou: You might as well just kill me now.

The next moment, Xie Xinglou discovered that he'd drawn a dazzling golden finger: he could instantly heal any wound, quickly cure poison, and eliminate fatigue. He also had one chance to come back to life.

Xie Xinglou: Die from the start or get knocked out in round two? That is the question.

Xie Xinglou didn't care about winning at all. He just hoped not to die too quickly. But as soon as he entered the instance, a tentacle monster attacked. Just as Xie Xinglou thought he was about to use up his first life, Song Qichen, the aloof guy on his team, suddenly jumped in and hacked the monster to pieces in a couple of moves. Afterwards, he calmly put away his weapon, looking incredibly cool.

Seeing his lifeline, Xie Xinglou immediately clung to Song Qichen's leg. "Boss, please carry me!"

With a powerful ally at his side, Xie Xinglou thought he could finally live in peace. But as the instances grew harder, he increasingly felt that something was off, especially with Song Qichen, who often looked at him strangely.

Xie Xinglou: Is there something on my face?

Song Qichen: You're... very good.

Song Qichen: I want to be with you...

Xie Xinglou: ???

Song Qichen is the top, Xie Xinglou is the bottom.
