The Monster Diner

After Wei Yi is diagnosed with a terminal illness, a powerful demon takes a liking to him and invites him to run the cafeteria. If he manages it well, he may earn a life-extending pill.

Desperate to survive, Wei Yi signs the contract. From then on, feeding ferocious beasts, raising little ones, and bragging to all kinds of big shots (strike that, strike that) and making friends become part of his daily life...

When his follow-up test results come in, Wei Yi goes to see the big shot. "Do me a favor."

The big shot, with grease all over his mouth: "I haven't refined the life-extending pill yet. I'll fire up the furnace and make one."

Wei Yi: "I'm not sick. The diagnosis was wrong."

The big shot: "Then what do you want?"

Wei Yi looks at the travel-worn man at the door and says, his face twitching with panic, "Nothing, nothing..."

Despairing, Wei Yi impulsively texts his ex-boyfriend, berating himself for leaving without a word and being a heartless scumbag who pulled up his pants and walked away. He asks his boyfriend to treat their son well, for the sake of their feelings for each other. And one more thing: there's a bank card in the bedside table drawer with 200,000 yuan in it. The PIN is your birthday. Sob...

Later,

After confirming he'd been misdiagnosed, Wei Yi is so upset he could cry. Why don't text messages have a feature to unsend them after two days!!!
