The Last Great Demon King [Western Fantasy]

After joining forces with the six intelligent races of the Falan Continent to seal away the God of Destruction during the Holy War, Anglair, the first great Demon King of the Demon Realm, fell into a thousand-year slumber. A thousand years later, the world's rules awakened him and told him that the God of Destruction was about to return. He had to log back in and take down the world boss all over again. However, when the Demon King crawled out of the endless sea of stars... He discovered that while he was away, someone had demolished his home. The previous Demon King had sacrificed himself, the high-ranking demons had sealed themselves away, and the entire Demon Realm was nearly wiped out. They hadn't left him a single blade of grass, let alone henchmen or money. And on the very first day an Archsage, who might have had a crush on him a thousand years ago, came to seek refuge, someone had beaten him until he lost his memory. The Demon King, burdened with the responsibility of protecting the world: ... Damn this world. Maybe I should just destroy it. Notes for readers: 1. This isn't orthodox Western fantasy. It's a ridiculous, absurdist premise, so be ready to escape at any moment. 2. Some settings and place names are from my previous abandoned Western fantasy novel. If anything seems familiar, don't panic. 3. I'm getting back into writing and trying my hand at a light novel, so beware of an unusual writing style.
