Can't the Rhododendron Become a Spirit?

As a Chinese photinia tree growing deep in the heart of Spirit Mountain, its flowers have always been scorned by all manner of righteous people for their smell.

But is that its fault?

It's simply nature's choice!

So the photinia decided to take human form, imitating the appearance of a handsome man in white whom it had rescued by chance. The man in white found it utterly repulsive.

But since they looked alike, the man in white forcibly took the photinia as his disciple, tempting it with magical weapons, treasures, and pills to help him take revenge.

And so the soul and the demon began their miserable yet hilarious path to vengeance.

Aloof, serious, and ill-fated master seme x wild, funny, open-minded, and clever disciple uke

The tone is lively, with angst but a sweet ending, leveling up and plenty of satisfying moments. The premise is wildly imaginative. Cultivation isn't the main plot, so don't overanalyze or nitpick. Comments are the author's greatest motivation to keep updating.
