"The white moonlight of this lousy author, and the reason they first came to Jinjiang. The blurb has been screenshotted and archived."

Mu Qingyue used to be a brash, overbearing but dedicated God of Matchmaking.

Then the years wore down his edges,

and he became a free-spirited, laid-back God of Matchmaking who shirked his duties.

Lovers of the world: ?

One day, the indolent God of Matchmaking stayed in bed and wouldn't get up.

When he finally woke, he realized he might have forgotten to tie the red thread for a pair of lovers.

Later,

he discovered that one of those lovers might actually be himself.

Lovers of the world: Hah.

Legend has it that the Heavenly Dao falls into ruin once every hundred thousand years.

When that happens, immortals become fallen immortals, demons run rampant, marriages across the Three Realms fall into disarray, and conflict rages on.

In an age of chaos, Mu Qingyue, dressed in a flamboyant red robe, cuts down traitors with his sword and strides through the turmoil, upholding justice in the world on behalf of the Heavenly Realm.

But no one knows the true purpose of his descent to the mortal world: to find that pure white figure, still cool and aloof amid the chaos.

"Nine hundred and ninety-nine times. This time, I'll be the one to find you."

A proud, carefree God of Matchmaking who knows the big picture, as the shou × a cool, noble and secretly cunning cultivator, as the gong

"Reader's Guide"

① The usual 1v1 pairing, with both partners doting on each other.

② A serious, romance-focused story, with both sweetness and angst.

③ There are loads (gestures wildly) of author-created details, so please don't nitpick, mua.

④ This lousy author has a grand plan: all of their stories can be connected within the same world. The "Fated Red Thread" series is the full, concrete realization of that world, so there won't be a new installment anytime soon (?).

⑤ The "Fated Red Thread" series will have a main story and supplementary stories. This is the main story, the most important part of the series.

⑥ The supplementary stories will be released separately and will cover the past, present, and future.

The past takes place before this story and tells Mu Qingyue's earlier adventures.

The present takes place in the modern era and depicts the world of the contemporary story.

The future takes place in the future and depicts the world of the futuristic story.
