(Code Geass) Reforging

Feeling young and wild again, calling for a third season, reminiscing about youth.

The protagonist enters the world of the chibi version of Rolo, whose lifelong goal is to poach talent from the Empire. Before the story begins, he's already been won over by Lelouch. He feels terrible about himself and insists that Lelouch hates him to the core, stubbornly playing the part of a dutiful rag under the Demon King's oppression.

An energetic, quick-witted protagonist with plenty of spotlight moments. He isn't just a viewpoint character telling someone else's story.

Pairing: Rolo wonders, "How could a lousy rag like me even have a love interest?"

If he does, it'll probably be a canon character.
