Six months into their relationship, Si Tao disappeared.

Gong Cheng searched frantically for a long time, but found nothing.

He began spending every night at bars.

A terrifying chill radiated from Gong Cheng. His friends, who usually joked around with him, didn't dare say a word as they watched him down glass after glass of hard liquor.

For two whole years, Gong Cheng was like a machine that couldn't smile. He showed no mercy in the business world, then came home and drank himself senseless.

One day, he was randomly flipping through channels at home when he suddenly saw a press event on TV for a drama newly scripted by Si Tao.

As he watched her smiling face on the screen, something inside Gong Cheng snapped, and he could no longer hold it back.

He saw Si Tao again at a dinner after the drama's wrap party. The production team kept urging her to drink.

A friend sent Gong Cheng a picture of the scene. He had been standing in the shadows of the hallway, but now he strode out and marched to the wrap party's private room, kicking the door open.

He walked in with a cold expression, grabbed Si Tao's hand, and started to pull her away. A producer stopped him with a smile. "You barge in here out of nowhere and expect to take one of my people?"

"One of your people?" Gong Cheng asked coldly. His eyes were bloodshot like a beast's, his anger at its breaking point.

Si Tao hurriedly took him out into the hallway and, as they headed toward the elevator, tried to placate him casually. "Calm down."

Before she could finish, Gong Cheng pinned her against the wall, gripped her chin hard with one hand, and kissed her fiercely.

In an instant, the taste of liquor and blood burst in their mouths.

A moment later, Gong Cheng let go.

His eyes bloodshot, he choked back his fury and said, "Who do you think you are? What gives you the right?"

A devoted romance. The male lead has an almost cruel possessiveness.
