That midsummer, Sheng Fang met the person who would leave her dazzled throughout her youth.
At the same time, the young man's name became her greatest secret.
When they first met, Wei Chao still had the vigor of youth about him. He looked aloof and distant, yet whenever danger appeared, he would gallantly shield her behind him.
Even though, at the time, they were only strangers who had crossed paths by chance.
One rainy night, Wei Chao was being chased by someone and, by a twist of fate, ran into Sheng Fang's little courtyard. Sheng Fang took the opportunity to give him shelter.

Sheng Fang saw Wei Chao for the second time at Guoqing Temple.
That day, Wei Chao was wearing a white shirt.
He knelt devoutly on a prayer mat, sunlight falling across him. From afar, even his back looked almost sacred.
But when he turned around, his gaze passed right over her, as if he didn't know her at all.
Even when the people with him made suggestive remarks to her, he didn't stop them. Instead, he looked at her with the same languid, flirtatious gaze.
This Wei Chao felt like a stranger to Sheng Fang.
As Sheng Fang went down the steps, she accidentally stepped on some moss.
Just as she was about to fall, Wei Chao suddenly appeared again and wrapped an arm around her slender waist.
A plum branch tore his sleeve. Only then did Sheng Fang see that his left arm was covered in tattoos.
She caught a glimpse of densely packed thorny vines tattooed on his arm.
Before Sheng Fang could get a better look, Wei Chao quickly let go of her. His ears turned red as he hid his left arm behind his back, not letting her see it again.

One day, during a classroom discussion of a news story, Sheng Fang saw that same tattooed arm she hadn't managed to examine properly.
The social news segment was only 45 seconds long, and Wei Chao appeared in it as a drug dealer.
Although the image was pixelated, Sheng Fang recognized him by his tattooed arm.
The moment she made out the image, tears streamed down her face.
Tattooed on his arm was a blood-red crescent moon, its color lurid as blood. Black roses surrounded the crescent, and beneath the thorns was a pair of silver handcuffs.
And her favorite flower was the rose.
Theme: Keep striving
This makes the emperor ignorant
Damn, just forget it if you destroy Qin. This heroine talks about being strong but acts so weakly.
Damn, your writing is so sweet. Keep giggling in front of your phone screen. Keep up the good work, hehe
I wish the author a smooth exam and stay tuned for updates!
I wish you success in your postgraduate entrance examination!
Come on^0^~big Spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers.
This was all in ancient times. In the Qing Dynasty, there was still gold at the knees. The emperor knelt down to his parents. It looked pretty good. But was he really speechless after seeing this?
