Blurb
The twenty-fourth year of Xizhou, the winter solstice, the capital.
Dark clouds hung over the city. The north wind howled, snow fell thickly, and silver frost blanketed the ground.
The once-renowned Prince of Dingbei was convicted of treason, stripped of the imperial surname, demoted to commoner, and taken to the execution ground to be beheaded. His head hung above the city gate for decades, serving as a warning to the world.
The first time Wen Yu transmigrated, she landed right on the execution ground. The supervising official mistook her for an accomplice of the traitor, and she nearly lost her head.
That was also the day she met twenty-four-year-old Huo Wujie, amid the biting wind and falling snow.
He was bound in iron chains and forced to kneel on the execution platform at the public market. Blood streamed from the backs of his knees, staining a wide patch of snow red.
He wore white, his body covered in bloody whip marks, his face smeared with blood and grime. She could barely make out his features. Yet his back remained ramrod straight. No matter how others humiliated him, he refused to lower his head even an inch.
The executioner’s blade fell, and blood spattered three feet. The Prince of Dingbei was beheaded. In a daze, she saw a flash of brilliant crimson before her eyes.
It was the first time she had met him, yet he called to her with deep affection and even left her the chance to live.
He said, “A Yu, it’s dangerous. Hurry and go.”
He said, “A Yu, don’t worry, and don’t be afraid. I won’t let you die.”
Then he said, “Chixing, please, don’t worry about me. Go save A Yu.”
Later, Chixing really did save her. But he died, in the bitter winter of that year.
After that, every time she went back, all she wanted was to save him. Every scheme and every careful calculation was for the sole purpose of keeping him alive.
The second time Wen Yu transmigrated, she met Huo Wujie at sixteen.
But for some reason, he seemed to know her. He knew her name, knew she would come, and even knew when she would arrive. He understood her likes and dislikes, and seemed to know her better than she knew herself.
Not only that, he had already prepared wedding clothes and a bridal chamber.
On the eve of her departure, he pulled a marriage contract she had written herself from his robes and insisted that they get married.
Wen Yu looked at the red paper and gold characters, every date written with perfect accuracy, and turned pale.
She was just about to run when the young man grabbed her wrist stubbornly, looking utterly aggrieved. His voice hoarse, he said, “A Yu said long ago that she would marry me today. You even wrote the marriage contract. Are you going back on your word?”
Looking into his tearful eyes, Wen Yu couldn’t bring herself to refuse.
The third time Wen Yu transmigrated, she met Huo Wujie as a baby still in swaddling clothes.
Someone had abandoned him in a mass grave on the outskirts of the capital. She took him home and raised him, and even gave him the name Wujie herself.
It was only then that she understood why sixteen-year-old Huo Wujie had seemed so familiar with her.
Huo Wujie once said:
“Wen Yu can belong to anyone, but Huo Wujie belongs to Wen Yu. For this lifetime, for all eternity, he can only belong to Wen Yu.”
“I will marry only one person, in this life or the next. If I cannot find her, I would rather be alone.”
Reader’s Guide
1. The story is entirely fictional, with no real-life models. It is a sweet story with a happy ending.
2. The heroine transmigrates into the world. The premise is similar to a Mobius strip, but it eventually comes to an end.
3. The male and female leads’ timelines run in opposite directions, with a sense of fated connection across past and present lives.
4. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. This story focuses on an ensemble cast, unfolds gradually, and has a gentle pace. Each character has a set purpose. I will stay true to my original creative vision, so please don’t casually ask me to change the plot or setting. Let’s create a harmonious reading environment. I hope you enjoy the story. Thank you.
Blurb for The Girl’s Divine Being:
After her college entrance exams, Wen Ci went on vacation to an island and secretly got a boyfriend without telling her family. As they spent more time together, Wen Ci discovered that there was something different about him.
Every full moon, he would fall ill. His temperature would rise, and dense, snake-like scales would appear on his skin. The only way to ease the pain was to soak in water.
Later, Wen Ci fell into the deep sea and accidentally discovered that the man-eating merfolk, whose singing voices lured humans, had a face identical to her boyfriend’s.
Theme: What is done in secret will eventually come to light.

Ahhhhh! Please add more!!! I want to see Huo Wuji know the truth!!!
Huo Xun and Wuji's life has been too miserable. I hope the ending will give birth to a new outcome. It is too tragic that Xiao Huo died young in his 20s.
