Space Hunters
Space Ca|valry
(Kardashev Type I civilization setting + evolution-based hard science fiction + special gender classification system + primarily female-dominant relationships)
Zuo Chen is a proud member of the Space Hunters. Although she's not as tall as other Space Hunters, looks a little androgynous, dislikes taking mercenary jobs, and is obsessed with research and development, nothing can change the fact that she belongs to this autonomous people born in the era of wormhole travel.
Ordinary people think she lacks the charm of the Space Hunters, and she doesn't have much luck picking up boys. But Zuo Chen doesn't care much. Romance is optional, and she can take care of her physical needs by paying at a nightclub. Her life is pretty good as it is.
Then one day, she inexplicably takes an off-world assignment and picks up an adorable, soft-hearted boyfriend (?). By an unlikely turn of events, she discovers the secret of how governments control and deceive the Space Hunters, as well as the truth behind the sudden appearance of wormholes throughout the solar system all those years ago...
Content warnings and notes:
1. This is hard science fiction set in a Kardashev Type I civilization. The main theories draw on evolution and cosmology, while the central argument is based on scientific socialism. Readers who feel their knowledge of physics and biology is lacking may want to look things up on Baidu or Google as they read.
2. In this story, human society has another system of gender classification alongside the male-female divide, making six gender categories in all. Female-dominant relationships and male-dominant relationships coexist as equals.
3. The protagonist is a tech-obsessed woman in a female-dominant relationship, and her partner is a sweet, soft-hearted boy in a female-dominant relationship. It is truly a strong woman and weak man pairing, with no male-dominant relationship elements. If that bothers you, please don't read.
△ All photographic materials on the cover were taken by me, so please don't reuse them. I also drew the character design myself (because I'd bought a drawing tablet and wanted to get used to it). Some lines are crooked, the colors are off, and details are lacking (because I'm not very experienced and drew it in a hurry). It doesn't represent my actual drawing ability (serious face.jpg), so please bear with me.
My previous hard science fiction stories in the same vein: Three Hundred and Ten Light-Years, Fleet Citizens

The roller coaster ride really makes people feel chest tight and breathless...
I seem to have seen this concerto recommended more than once. Spore seems to have a deep love for this piece.
Hahahaha, I laughed out loud when I saw my brother sitting up in shock in his dream.
