[Jian Wang 3 Hua-Tang] The Lame Hua Ge

A lame-legged, long-suffering saintly Hua Ge and a poker-faced little demon girl, a Pao Luo.

The heroine is genuinely ruthless, with a former-assassin backstory.

The protagonists seem to have gotten their roles mixed up. They're seven years apart, yet Fang Sanyue still helplessly gets pushed down by Tang Yu and becomes a married man.

He always felt that Heaven had treated Tang Yu unfairly. If he had stopped that numb-eyed little girl at the Chang'an market all those years ago, might she now be an ordinary girl, laughing happily beneath a wisteria trellis and living a peaceful, fortunate life?

In the end, he repaid all that was owed by selling himself to her.
