[Detective Conan/KaiShin] Demi-Human

If there's no update by 12:30 a.m., there won't be one that day. Updates at other times are just typo fixes and edits. (During long holidays, I might work past that time.) Meow suspects my limit is one update a week now. Project reports, factory assignments... I'm just a little kitty, meow, and I can feel the malice from my teachers :) Literary Version: There are "humans" who are not human. They hide among society, scoffing at the exaggerated descriptions in works of fantasy. They aren't necessarily forced to keep their heads down. They might be best-selling novelists, notorious master thieves, internationally acclaimed actors, genius scientists, gifted agents of various national organizations... And even high school detectives famous around the world. In the demi-human world, finding a partner is fraught with uncertainty and difficulty. Yet I met you so early, and bound your future to mine with blood. Before law and justice, performance and revenge, you are the most important one. I am truly fortunate to have met you. Plain Version: A silly little bat who can't turn into a human, and a lonely werewolf who can turn into an ominous black mermaid. The little bat needs the werewolf's life-giving blood, while the werewolf finds salvation through the little bat. The little bat once nearly drowned. After waking up, it had lost its memories of the past but gained the ability to transform, along with a black pearl that belonged to a mermaid. From then on, it searched everywhere for the one it loved. To save his little pet, who had drowned and remained unconscious, the little werewolf lent the pearl to it. He never expected the fool not to realize that its benefactor was a wolf, not a fish. Because of a misunderstanding and hurt feelings, the two didn't see each other for many years. Mr. Bat drank animal blood that tasted strongly of fish, longing for the other more with every passing day. Mr. Werewolf had placed all his possessiveness, loyalty, and sincerity in one person. How could he not miss him? The wheels of fate brought them a reunion, along with an inescapable darkness. Only by overcoming it could they see tomorrow. Theme: Despite all the twists and turns, a happy ending is the one destined outcome
