Locked...

My name is Bai Mingyu. I'm an ordinary student at a regular 211 university in Beijing. I don't have any special talents, but I'm not particularly outstanding or useless either. I'm the sort of person who doesn't really stand out in a crowd. I have a fairly pleasant face, and sometimes I go to the film studio next door to work as an extra and earn a little pocket money.

I forgot to mention that I'm a genuinely poor student. Both my parents died, and I learned a trade from an old man. I don't really want to say what the trade is. Whenever I do, people think I'm a scammer. It's incredibly awkward.

Last year, the old man passed away and left me his “shop.” I've been running this place that can only lose money and never make any in peace. I hadn't been working on set for long when I suddenly got a text from a stranger... asking me to save her? Had she eaten something bad? And yet... to keep the shop afloat, I eventually went with her to Yunnan. I never imagined that from then on, I'd be walking a path I could never turn back from...

A laid-back, aimless bottom x an upright, cool-headed top (though I'm not sure if their roles will change as the protagonist's experiences and personality develop. For now, that's the setup).
