Hardcore Taoist, Expert Bluffer

As the saying goes, all things in this world rise and fall. Since the Great Qi Dynasty was founded, the Daoist sects, which had flourished for countless years, have indeed seen their fortunes rise and fall, and fall, and fall, and fall.

The little beggar Yao Zhaobao is lucky enough to keep up with the times and follow the trend. After an old Daoist picks him up from the beggars' den, he joins this sunset industry. Huddled against the north wind, Yao Zhaobao rubs his arms and shivers, wondering if his life is going steadily downhill.

Yao Zhaobao isn't the only one whose fortunes are declining. There's also He Huaiyu, who grew up surrounded by gold and jade. Other people lose money and worldly power; he loses his mind.

When Yao Zhaobao, nearly starved, and He Huaiyu, nearly turned into a fool, cross paths, they unexpectedly find what they want in each other.

Yao Zhaobao: "I want to revitalize the Daoist sects and get rich..."

He Huaiyu: "I want you."

A cap of braided silk, a sword bright as frost.

A silver saddle on a white horse, swift as a shooting star.

Ten paces to kill a man, a thousand miles without a trace.

When the deed is done, he brushes off his clothes and leaves, his name and person hidden.

Years later, as Yao Zhaobao watches the Daoist sects bloom again, he rides out singing with He Huaiyu into the rolling dust of the mortal world.

In short, this is the story of a little beggar who drags a rich young master into helping him revive the Daoist sects.
