They say that of the countless things in this world, whatever rises must also fall. Ever since the founding of the Great Qi dynasty, the Daoist sect had flourished for countless years, only to prove the saying right with a development history full of ups and downs and more downs.
The little beggar Yao Zhaobao was lucky enough to keep up with the times and follow the latest trends. Ever since an old Daoist had picked him up from the beggars' den, he'd joined this sunset industry. Huddled against the north wind, Yao Zhaobao rubbed his arms and shivered, wondering if his life was going more and more backward.
Besides Yao Zhaobao, there was another person whose life was going backward: He Huaiyu, who had grown up surrounded by gold and jade. Other people lost wealth and power, things external to themselves. He was losing his brains.
When Yao Zhaobao, nearly starving, ran into He Huaiyu, who had almost turned into an idiot, they each found in the other exactly what they wanted.
Yao Zhaobao: "I want to revive the Daoist sect. I need gold and silver..."
He Huaiyu: "I want you."
The wandering knight wears a tasseled cap,
His Wu hook gleams like frost and snow.
A silver saddle shines beneath his white horse,
Swift as a shooting star.
He kills a man every ten steps,
And travels a thousand miles without leaving a trace.
When his task is done, he brushes off his clothes and leaves,
His name and person hidden from the world.
Many years later, Yao Zhaobao gazed at the Daoist sect, now thriving again like a dead tree in spring. He rode forth, singing, and galloped with He Huaiyu into the teeming world.
In short, this is the story of a little beggar who leads a rich young master on a mission to revive the Daoist sect.

Although this novel was saved when I was tweeting it for free for a limited time. After reading it, it was very fascinating and kept attracting me. I couldn't help but read chapter after chapter. If I had not accidentally seen it during the limited-time free tweets, I guess I would have missed such a special and very interesting novel as "[Fairytale] Prince and His Scavenger Mermaid". No way, when I saw the title of the article, the word "fairy tale" immediately appeared in my eyes. I could not help but think of this passage immediately in my mind: Fairy tale? I am so old, do I still need to read fairy tales? I can't help but despise myself. I'm not that young kid who doesn't know much about reading a storybook, and every line of text has to be marked with phonetic symbols next to it. Still reading fairy tales? After I was in the fourth grade of elementary school, I was embarrassed to admit to others that I liked reading fairy tales, although I still liked reading fairy tales the most. Because I was too thin-skinned and often felt embarrassed, I could only read them secretly, and read them one by one, many times over. The novel "[Fairytale] The Prince and His Scavenger Mermaid" covers a total of six stories. The first story is "The Daughter of the Sea", the second story is "Rapunzel", the third story is "Little Red Riding Hood", the fourth story is "The Little Match Girl", the fifth story is "The Three Dwarfs in the Forest", and the sixth story is "Sleeping Beauty". The fifth story is "Three Dwarfs in the Forest". When I first saw the name, it was so long ago that I had memories of fairy tales. I really couldn't remember what the previous story was about. However, when I saw the fleshy face at the beginning, when it said: The king married a queen who seemed to be mute, I finally remembered that the prototype of this story at the beginning was my favorite fairy tale I had ever read. I remember the two fairy tale books my mother bought for me. One was the most famous and familiar "Andersen's Fairy Tales", and the other was also very famous and familiar, the "Grimm's Fairy Tales". The prototype of the story at the beginning is from the "Grimm's Fairy Tales". I remember the general content of the story. It seems that a king saw a beautiful girl without clothes on his way through the forest. I forgot why she was not wearing clothes. Maybe I remembered it wrong. However, this is not the point here. Being mute is the key. The prototype heroine is to help her brothers who were cursed by a witch and turned into birds. She sews and wears clothes that can transform them back into birds. She cannot speak during the sewing process, otherwise, they will not be able to change back after wearing them. Therefore, she is not mute, she just has to hold back and cannot speak. Here, the author has modified and combined the reasons why the protagonist cannot speak with other fairy tales, making people feel more interesting and humorous after reading it. It also makes people more curious and can't help but want to continue reading the next chapter. Want to know what the result will be? Of course, there is an important point that cannot be ignored here: he is a man. When I browse novels, I always read the ending library first, otherwise I look for novels from the ranking list. I prefer original novels to derivative ones, and pure love to romance novels. Therefore, what attracted me to click on it was the word "pure love". How could it be involved in a fairy tale? I clicked in curiously, and it was as interesting as I imagined. I felt very happy after reading it. Every article in it is very interesting and interesting.
