A Song of Return to One

July 30, 2019. I'm furious. I'm posting the rest of the plot outline (Chapter 90). This story wasn't put behind a paywall, has 41 favorites, and at least two-thirds of those are from friends. It hasn't harmed the interests of the site, its readers, or its authors.

Tang Li, the most adored princess of the Great Liang, has reached the age to choose a husband, but not one of the fine young men in the capital catches her eye. Empress Liang arranges a good match for her, but on her wedding day Tang Li beats up her fiance's entire family and runs off with her childhood friend.

Her reclusive senior fellow disciple, whom she's never met, invites her to visit him in the mountains. When she meets him, she finds him rather to her taste.

But her senior fellow disciple tells her that he won't live to see his twentieth birthday.

Later, Tang Li discovers that the same curse and the same illness of an incomplete soul are slowly coming true in her, too.

Everything is the cause from a past life, and the effect in this one...

A few notes:

1. This is a story about a fragment of a soul reincarnating in the present and wanting to kill the original owner of the body.

2. The heroine isn't a naive sweetheart, though she can be sweet at times. The hero is gentle and dependable. One-on-one romance, no messy love triangle.

3. The heroine is the best buddy of her childhood friend, the second male lead. They're the kind of pals who tear into each other at the slightest provocation.
