The Demon Contract Inn

Boss Peng opens an inn in a bustling city overrun by monsters, where he catches demons, raises dragons, and hatches little ones.

The monsters who check in always find some excuse to stay. The inn is overrun with monsters, leaving Boss Peng at his wit's end, but they all have plenty to say in their defense:

Qilin: "I bring good fortune. You can't kick me out."

Fox Demon: "I got in here by my own merit. Why should I leave?"

Sloth: "I... climbed... for three... whole months... to get here. Can you... really bear... to kick me out...?"

Pangolin: "Sure, I refuse to leave and I'm behind on rent, but I've got thick skin."

Li Yize: "Hmm?"

All the monsters: Σ( ° △ °|||) ︴

Li Yize: "You're no use to me. I might as well eat you."

The monsters tremble: Great Dragon, spare us!

Boss Peng: "Let's all get along and make money. If you eat them all, who am I supposed to collect rent from? How am I supposed to run a monster kindergarten?"

The great dragon flicks his tail, guards the inn with his imposing presence, acts cute when he's in the mood, and devours Boss Peng's savings with sheer skill.

How to enjoy this story:

· A lighthearted, sweet slice-of-life story about catching demons, raising dragons, hatching little ones, and showing off one's love, with all kinds of adorable monsters

· 1v1, happy ending, human top and dragon bottom, alternating perspectives, with roughly equal page time. Overall, it's probably more focused on the bottom. The top's name is pronounced Peng Yu.

· Both are powerful figures. The top dominates the demon world through strength, while the bottom wins hearts by acting cute (not really).

· The ancient-era arc is called The Dragon Chronicles. It's only loosely connected and can be read as a standalone story.
