My version of Butterfly Lovers is based on the 2007 TV series.
Butterfly Lovers is a tragedy. Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai knew, cherished, and loved each other, but they could not find happiness because of the social hierarchy and the obstruction and entanglements caused by Ma Wencai. Their fate is heartbreaking and regrettable. Ma Wencai is a tragic figure too. Under an extremely strict upbringing, he became capable, accomplished in both letters and arms, yet his personality turned obsessive and mad, and in the end he harmed both others and himself.
But when he was frightened and terrified, hiding in a dark cabinet and trembling, he suddenly realized that no matter how heroic and accomplished he grew up to be, he was still a little boy who had been beaten harshly by his father and had lost his mother forever.
I dedicate this story to everyone I love, to give them all a happy ending.

Great~ I've read too many inexplicably negative Zhu Yingtai's articles. I don't like it. Although I don't agree with her from the bottom of my heart that she helped Huang Liangyu escape "at the wedding", it is undeniable that she is a good person, and I always believe that two people who love each other will always be happy together. If you are not happy, it means that you don't love him enough or he doesn't love you enough. Or maybe you have misunderstood how heavy the word "love" is.
This is one of my favorite fanfics I've read! I like it so much! Especially the plot in the third chapter is unexpected and amazing! Also, I think Ponyboy must be the king of straight shots! He always clearly admits what he is thinking, especially to Zhu Yingtai in the drama.

I really like the ending you wrote. Brother Wencai finally has someone to love him and pamper him, and he feels relieved. Ma Wencai, played by Guanlin Chen, is so handsome. I have been addicted to him recently. Alas, he played this character so well!
