The Ming Emperor

A warning first: This story is based on the author's own setting. It takes place in a world changed by transmigrators, where men and women are truly equal. If that's not for you, please skip it. If you like it, please add it to your favorites! Also, don't nitpick the history. The author made it all up, with no basis in fact! Now, here's the blurb: In the twenty-fifth year of the Yuande era, the Prince of Yan was blessed with a daughter and requested that she be named his heir. As the only child of the Prince of Yan's household, Xiao Yu was raised with loving care by her parents and grew up doing whatever she pleased, becoming a terror in Beiping City. If nothing unexpected happened, she would have gone on like that for the rest of her life! But in the autumn of the tenth year of the Tianqi era, an imperial edict arrived in the capital: The Emperor has no heir. The heirs of the various princes are summoned to the capital, and one will be chosen as Crown Prince. Prince of Yan: Stunned. Heir: Shocked! Several years later. Xiao Yu, now the supreme ruler of the realm, sighed to the Crown Prince before her: "Back then, your mother used to chase cats and dogs around Yanjing and raid the Wala on the grasslands. Those were the days..." The former Grand Tutor, now Empress: "Ahem!" Xiao Yu hastily changed course to make amends: "It was fate. If I hadn't come to the capital, I would never have met your father!" Later, a close friend of the Crown Prince asked out of curiosity: "Your Highness, as the most nobly born heir since the founding of the dynasty, do you have any special thoughts?" The Crown Prince, utterly resigned: "When other people make mistakes, they get at most one beating. When I do, I get at least a beating from both my parents..." P.S. This is a story about a big fox meeting a little fox. They trick and admire each other, and before long, things get rather... suggestive. P.S. Gender equality doesn't mean everyone is equal. This is, after all, an ancient setting, so nobles and commoners obviously can't be equal! Also, the characters' views in this story don't represent the author's views. The author is just an ordinary person, so naturally my ideas are pretty down-to-earth too. Theme: Different paths are taken by different people
