For some reason, I suddenly wanted to read Blood Lad again. Then after reading it, I suddenly wanted to write something. So here goes.
A few things to know before reading: I haven't looked through the manga, only watched the anime. There are a lot of things about the plot I don't understand. It's also different from the vampires of the West. It never explains the origins, development, or reproduction of vampires (maybe the manga does). So a lot of this is me rambling, with plenty of personal headcanon. And I haven't studied biology or anything (besides, biology probably can't explain this anyway). So this story's setting is anime plus personal headcanon.
Cautions: Cold, unsaintly, selfish heroine; siscon; first-person POV; poor writing; shaky setting; possibly flawed logic; no guaranteed updates (though no one's reading it anyway, haha). The male lead is undecided. I'll see where the story goes.
