[One Piece] Lead Me to My Death

Everyone has their own hardships. People cannot share each other's feelings, but they can understand pain.

Faust believed she was different from everyone else. She had goals others didn't have, thoughts others didn't have, so she allowed herself a little self-satisfaction. Everyone is unique.

And so, when Faust faced death for the first time, she felt something more overwhelming than life itself.

After all, a person's death is unique, too.

His will, his voice, his shadow: Whenever she stood on the sea and gazed into the distance, seeing that brilliant smile, she always found herself alone. Faust finally understood that humans could never truly understand or empathize with one another. After all, every person's pain and dreams are unique.

So was this suffocating pain, too, something unique he had given her?

Struggling through pain and death, she did everything she could to leave that sea of despair and set foot on the land called ideals. At last, golden sunlight filled her heart once more.

"...So you weren't dead after all."

"Then go die now."
