An Elf's Confession [Frieren: Beyond Journey's End]

Frieren had once been pursued by another elf. She was a very strange person. She was lively and passionate, with a rare vitality for an elf. That day, she told her: "I'm going to die, Frieren." She smiled brightly as she said it. * Frieren knew that she had once had a lover. Her lover was a hero who devoted everything to the future of humanity. Her lover died many years ago. "But he said we'd meet again." "He never lies, so we'll definitely meet again." "I'll look forward to that day and run toward it." * "If it's you, Frieren, you'll understand." "Maybe not now, but someday." Reader's Guide: 1. A short story with a bad ending. The main pairing is the Southern Hero and the female lead, with a little Sein/Frieren and a tiny bit of Himmel/Frieren. 2. A lethal dose of my own headcanons. I made everything up, so don't take any of it as canon. 3. Anyway, I got my fix, so do as you please. Since I'm writing angst, it's bound to flop anyway, so please cut me some slack. 3.5. But if anyone likes it, please tell me. I'm begging you. Other completed stories in a similar style: Swordfighter, Love in the Snow, the blood-feud version of the KomaKoi pairing I Hear There's Snow in Nagano Tonight, about the two Morofushi brothers. Yes, both of them get together with someone. If you like this kind of emotional devastation, please go give them a look. I'll do anything! Theme: Even when fate cannot be changed, love can still cross the boundaries of time.
