I've mentioned before that posting here is a pain because of all the brainless, unnecessary rules.
After the site's major review period, almost every one of my Naruto stories got locked. I checked, and they all had the same reason. Anyone who's watched Naruto knows there's a jutsu called Kage Bunshin. The reviewers probably don't watch anime, or else they're bots blindly locking things after running a word filter.
But in the end, this all comes down to the stubborn remnants of outdated traditions.
As Dr. Sun Yat-sen wrote in his will: "The revolution has not yet succeeded; comrades must continue to strive."
A lot of things can't be accomplished just by preaching and brainwashing. What matters is what you actually do and what you're capable of doing.
I'll still read stories here, because many excellent authors across the strait work hard within the system and still produce good stories. (Of course, it could also be that I'm used to Traditional Chinese and write in it, while authors across the strait are used to Simplified Chinese and write in that; habits become second nature, so you automatically work around the rules.) But I'm sorry, I'm just too lazy to keep accommodating a brainless system that's behind the times and does everything it can to make people who have already become enlightened go back to being brainwashed. I write for love, because sharing my work and interacting with readers makes me happy, and simply putting a story on the page is fulfilling. Basically, I write my own comfort food. Having to follow every one of this lousy system's rules, cursing in the author's dashboard and wishing a meteor would fall and crush the idiots who came up with them, has made writing miserable. That defeats the whole purpose.
People already have a knack for placing limits on themselves. There's no need to impose more on purpose, unless there's a reason. But if those limits don't come from what you genuinely believe or think, and you're only taught that you have to agree, then they're unnecessary.
To the readers who still like this story: I am still posting it somewhere I don't have to follow those brainless rules.
You can look for it elsewhere.
While updating this story, I also ran into plenty of cases where it failed review for reasons that left me baffled.
It was exhausting to revise, and exhausting to post.
"Want this Tremor-Tremor Fruit? Go find it! I've put the power to shake the world out on the sea!"
Σ(⊙Д⊙;
"What are you staring at?!"
"You're a Marine!!!!" *crash*
Content notes:
1. As usual, this is a wish-fulfillment story.
2. The story follows the Pirate King plotline with some suggestive content, and includes original characters.
3. Luffy and Ace become sworn brothers.
4. The male lead is somewhat of a minor character, and the female lead is quite infatuated with him.
5. From the beginning to now, I still haven't revealed the female lead's true Devil Fruit ability. Everything in the story is said with a perfectly serious face, but is complete nonsense.
6. Since this follows the Pirate King plotline, I don't want Oda to prove me wrong too many times, so the story currently reaches the Reverie. It's about 340,000 Chinese characters long and on indefinite hiatus. I'll slowly continue once more of the plot comes out.
7. Rosinante is alive. The pairing is Tina. Smoker is canonically a confirmed bachelor, and no one can save him.
8. The female lead is Doflamingo's biological daughter, plain and simple. (Why I'm going out of my way to point this out will gradually become clear in the story.)
My other works in progress

[Naruto] The Fan-Wielding Mage
Completed. Maximum Mom's Blessing:

(Completed short story) Little Idea: Features the secondary pairing SasuKarin
[Naruto] Charasuke's Little Sister
(Completed short story) An alternate setting with no pairings
[Naruto] SHINOBI
(Completed) Continuing to chase after Madara, with the Uchiha still avoiding extinction and refusing to play nice with Konoha, in a melodramatic romance:
[Naruto] A Little Flower for You
(Completed) A female gold digger who lets young Madara win without lifting a finger. Set exclusively in the Warring States period, with intersecting alternate-world and Crossover settings.
[Naruto] I Heard My Man Has a Tall, Dark, and Handsome Mistress on the Side
***That Magical Sea***
The daily struggle of a girl from the Donquixote family, whose own father nearly had her cut into pieces, as she tries to survive at sea. (A Mary Sue romance with Law, started out of turn. I wrote until it caught up with the manga, so I've stopped for now, and as a result I really don't feel like updating it.)
["Pirate King"] Reforming the Bad
I really want to know the locked chapter now
How many years has the author been born? Can it be updated? You won't lose your password! Even if you don't update here, tell me which software is updated!
Poor Luo, and Da Da, I'll wait for you to come back. There really aren't many pirate stories that are so good.
Suddenly I remembered that Luo hadn't known each other yet, how pitiful he was.
It's so awesome to come back in this way
Be sure to update it, this writing is so addictive
I would like to ask where to find the author?
Would you mind telling me where I can find it?
Please update, woo woo woo, don't give up ah ah ah
I thought I had fattened him for many chapters.
