The Demon God Doesn’t Want to Fall in Love

"If this is what you wish for, then I will grant you such a future..." The supreme Demon God grants every kind soul one chance to make a wish. Almost any wish can come true, except one involving the Demon God themself. Please keep that in mind. "For humans and most ordinary beings, the happiest thing in the world is having someone to keep them company, wait for them, understand them, care for them, and love them... But what does happiness mean to a Demon God?" Xing Yue listens in silence, smiles peacefully, then answers with quiet understanding: "Perhaps it is the day you no longer need a Demon God. A Demon God exists because people, because living beings, need them. If one day they could vanish completely, and all the beings in this world could live perfectly well without them, that would surely be the happiest moment for a Demon God." Such an unfathomable being is the source of all the pain and joy that living beings will one day experience... This is probably a cozy, everyday story about an apparently omnipotent but actually quite powerless Demon God getting along with nonhuman beings. Warnings: Almost everyone has an unrequited crush on the protagonist, who is a total top and has a fluid view of gender. The only way to determine top and bottom is by comparing their combat strength. The author is used to enjoying all kinds of pairings, so this story is both straight romance and gender-bender romance, with straight romance as the main focus. If those themes bother you, please proceed with caution. Theme: There is always a sky beyond the sky, and someone greater beyond every person.
